Certificate of Attendance A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for all registered delegates.
Visas A visa is required for entry into the People's Republic of China. Please contact your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for visa application information and processing. An official letter of invitation from the Congress will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration fee to facilitate your visa application. Visa should be applied for at least 1 month before departure.
Money Exchange The Yuan (RMB) is the official currency in China . After arriving you are recommended to exchange a small amount of money at the Bank of China counter near the Arrival Hall Exit for taxi fare etc.. The exchange rate is about $1 USD = RMB 6.83 (Feburary 2010). In big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, major credit cards – Visa, Master Card and American Express – are accepted at most hotels, large restaurants and shopping centers.
Official Language The official language is Mandarin Chinese. Most hotels have staff that speaks English. It is suggested that tourists have addresses or instructions written down in Chinese for taxi drivers. The official language of the congress will be English.
